Job Overview

A rewarding opportunity awaits for a skilled Cook to join the Hat Creek Burger Company team in Katy, TX. As a vital member of our Back-of-House team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow prep/par sheets to prepare product for shift
  • Accurately cook, assemble, and package customers' orders according to Hat Creek's standard operating procedures
  • Ensure accurate portion control, record food waste, and maintain proper holding and storage of all food items
  • Work in a safe and sanitary manner following local and state requirements
  • Unpack and store incoming inventory and truck orders, maintain cleanliness of cooking area, and report any kitchen equipment issues
Working Conditions:

This is a dynamic kitchen environment that requires working with various equipment such as ovens, stoves, walk-in coolers/freezers, milkshake machines, frying equipment, and knives.

  • You will be exposed to heat, steam, fire, noise, and potentially slippery surfaces.
  • Cooks are expected to be on their feet for up to 8 hours or more at a time and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Details:

The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

The estimated salary for this position is $35,000-$45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
