Position: Maintenance Helper

Overview: EMCOR Government Services is currently seeking a Maintenance Helper. This role is vital for maintaining the operational integrity of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular evaluations of building systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Execute tests and analyze data to verify the functionality of building machinery.
  • Carry out minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and respond to service requests for building equipment and machinery.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on plumbing systems, including water and sanitation.
  • Manage snow removal tasks as necessary.
  • Assist engineering staff with various projects.
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in performing minor repairs and preventive maintenance on building systems.
  • Experience in snow removal operations.
  • Availability to work any assigned shift, including weekends and overtime.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in completing tasks.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires significant walking, bending, kneeling, and working in various physical positions.
