Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide rehabilitation services in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.

2. Facilitate the learning of essential skills and functions for communication and swallowing.

3. Direct activities to promote and maintain health, within the scope of practice and consistent with the Code of Ethics of the profession.

4. Identify need for and make referral to other disciplines to address comprehensive patient needs.

5. Supervise CFY provisional licensees, students and support personnel as necessary or applicable.

Requirements:

1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders or similarly titled area.

2. Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow.

3. Licensure, certification or credentialing as required in the state of practice.

4. Good organizational and time management skills.

5. Good verbal and written communication skills.
