Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Equipment Management: Maintain knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance, and use, including IV pumps, monitoring equipment, and drainage devices.
- Emergency Response: Initiate emergency support measures, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, to protect patients from injury.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Education: Registered Nurse license in good standing, State of Arkansas or compact state license required prior to start date.
- Experience: 6 months of acute care experience is required (new graduates or nurses who have never worked in an acute care setting are hired through our residency training program).
- Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association is required; ACLS through the American Heart Association is required.
