We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Clerk to join our team at Greer's Markets. As a Deli Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet all customers in a courteous and friendly manner, respond to customer questions and requests, and explain store policies in a clear and concise manner.
  • Product Sales: Sell and select products for customers, wrap and package products as needed, and enter customer purchases into the cash register.
  • Special Orders: Write down customer special orders and requests, and communicate with the sales team to ensure accurate fulfillment.
  • Store Maintenance: Prepare and organize the cooler, freezer, and preparation areas for receipt of merchandise, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales team, and management.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately enter customer purchases and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
