We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our Reconstruction team at Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling of South Central Wisconsin. As a Lead Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in leading our team of skilled craftsmen and women in delivering exceptional results on complex restoration projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure timely and high-quality completion of restoration projects.
- Develop and implement project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with project managers and customers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Monitor and control project costs, including material procurement and labor management.
- Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, change orders, and certificates of satisfaction.
- Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of skilled craftsmen and women.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, project managers, and team members.
- Ability to lead by example, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in office and field operations, including software tools for schedule management, budget tracking, and material ordering.
