JOB TITLE : Catholic Worship Music Coordinator

LOCATION : Keesler AFB. Catholic Chapel, Biloxi, MS

RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Facilitates instrumental and accompaniment music for congregational singing and choir performances.
  • Exhibits proficiency on a secondary instrument such as piano, organ, guitar, bass guitar, or other fundamental instruments.
  • Interprets sheet music or demonstrates the ability to accompany through basic improvisation.
  • Supplies instrumental and accompaniment music to enhance rehearsals and worship services, including Catholic hymns and choir pieces.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS :
  • A minimum of two (2) years' experience in providing music services for a Catholic church or chapel, ideally within the last five (5) years.
  • Understanding of the core teachings and religious practices of the Roman Catholic Church.
  • Capability to perform on piano and/or organ.
