Position Overview

People Incorporated of Virginia is currently seeking applications for the role of Substitute Bus Driver within our Child and Family Development program.

This role is essential for providing safe and reliable transportation for children aged 0-4 years. The responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that all bus maintenance and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Completing necessary data entry and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
  • Adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations to guarantee the safety of child transportation.
  • Participating in required training sessions to maintain compliance and enhance skills.

A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required within 60 days of hire. Candidates must also successfully pass background checks and drug screenings.

This position is flexible and will be scheduled as needed, typically from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8 AM and 4:30 PM.
