Job Overview

Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN specializing in Telemetry to join our team. This role involves working on a Monday to Friday schedule, with shifts of 3 Days/12 Hours each week, totaling 36 Hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients in an acute medical inpatient setting, specifically in Med/Surg.
  • Commit to a 13-week assignment with a focus on 7p-7a shifts, including every other holiday and weekend.
  • Administer cardiac medications and infusions, monitor telemetry, and assist with temporary pacemakers.
  • Engage in post-procedural care, including support for Cath Lab, EP, TAVRs, CHF, RAF, and pre-operative assessments for cardiac surgery.
  • Utilize EHR systems, specifically Epic, for patient documentation and care coordination.

Essential Duties

  • Implement and oversee patient care plans, ensuring accurate monitoring and communication of patient conditions.
  • Act as the primary coordinator among various healthcare disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Execute physician and nursing orders with precision.
  • Evaluate and manage patient discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
