Job Summary

EOSYS Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to lead our industrial control field installation projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing hands-on leadership, work planning, project contributions, and oversight, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to NEC Compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead industrial control field installation projects requiring 6 team members or less.
  • Develop and implement work plans, prepare work schedules, and employee assignments to ensure quality, schedule, productivity, and career growth.
  • Interpret and apply National Electrical Code, local codes, building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and trade formulas.
  • Ensure organization of job site and project-related tools/inventory, and assist in troubleshooting electrical components, instrumentation, and control system commissioning.
  • Maintain daily report records of daily tasks on each project and anticipate problems, proactively coming up with solutions.
  • Work at or above the journeyman level to effectively train team members and implement plans for transport of personnel, tools, and materials.
  • Act as the customer point of contact for project planning and execution as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two-year technical school, trade school, electrical journeyman certification, contractor's license, or other related industry certificates or licensure.
  • OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Training and Safety.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record.
  • Five or more years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, construction, and/or service, OEM experience with major manufacturing companies, or system integration and/or automation equipment installation.
  • Capable of achieving a Master Electrician or Electrical Contractor certification within 1 year of employment.

  • Reference and interpretation of electrical codes (e.g. NEC, NFPA).
  • Reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams.
  • Strong electrical fundamentals.
  • Mechanical and layout skills with enclosures, conduit, and tray.
Work Environment

The work environment for this job is a combination of office and industrial settings with some exposure to inclement weather. Industrial environments vary and can include dusty, dirty, hot, or wet conditions or in confined areas or other uncomfortable places.
