About the Role:

This exciting opportunity offers a chance to join a dynamic team and make a real impact on the environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance and possess excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting formal and systematic reviews of our facilities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for environmental affairs and health and safety.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular audits of our facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Prepare and maintain environmentally related plans and procedures for our facilities;
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address areas of non-compliance;
  • Collaborate with our management team to identify and prioritize areas for improvement;
  • Provide guidance to operational teams on environmental regulations and best practices.

What We Offer:

Clean Harbors offers a competitive salary of $90,000 per year, comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment, generous paid time off, company-paid training and tuition reimbursement.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance;
  • RCRA 40 CFR hazardous waste management knowledge;
  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills;
  • A strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
