Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care, leading a team of nurses, and promoting a culture of excellence in our department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
  • Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice
  • Model proficiency through precepting new nurses and promoting a culture of excellence
  • Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
  • 1 year of nursing experience
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
