About the Role:
Danville Family Dental Care is seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to provide exceptional oral health care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings and screenings, to ensure optimal patient care.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with our experienced dental team to provide comprehensive care and education to patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and technology to deliver best-in-class care.
- Provide exceptional patient communication and education to promote healthy oral habits and prevent disease.
Requirements:
- Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
- Preferred experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
