Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant in Daly City, California. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing therapy to children and adolescents in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Assess speech and language disorders in students to identify areas of need.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create personalized plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide Direct Therapy: Deliver targeted therapy sessions to students based on their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with School Personnel and Families: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student speech and language development.
  • Maintain Detailed Records: Accurately document student progress and therapy sessions.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active California State SLP License: Hold a current and active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California.
  • Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC) from ASHA: Possess a Clinical Competence Certificate from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience in a School Setting: Preferably, have experience working in a school setting.
  • Strong Communication Skills and Empathy: Demonstrate excellent communication skills and empathy when working with students, parents, and school staff.
