Music Minister Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Music Minister to join our team at the St. George Roman Catholic Parish in Apache Junction, AZ. As a key member of our music ministry, you will be responsible for providing musical leadership and support for our parish's liturgical celebrations. About the Role:
This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have experience playing the organ and a strong understanding of Catholic liturgical music. They will also be expected to attend rehearsals and meetings as scheduled by the Liturgy/Music Director.

Responsibilities:
- Provide musical leadership and support for parish liturgical celebrations
- Lead our parish choir and other musical groups
- Work closely with the Liturgy/Music Director to plan and implement music programs
- Develop and maintain a repertoire of Catholic liturgical music
- Coordinate rehearsals and performances with other musicians and vocalists
- Collaborate with the pastor and other parish staff to ensure seamless integration of music into the liturgy

Requirements:
- Possess a working knowledge of, and a strong commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church
- Employ flexibility and follow direction; be a team player and be self-motivated
- Perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work with a sense of urgency
- Exercise courtesy to fellow employees, parishioners, and the general public
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
- Ability to successfully pass a background and criminal history check
- Clean and neat personal appearance
- Experience with Catholic liturgical music

Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is $52,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of the parish.
