Position Overview
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Nursing Education Faculty. This position is integral to the Nursing and Health Studies department, focusing on innovative teaching methodologies and collaborative educational practices.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering instruction in theoretical, practical, and clinical settings.
  • Enhancing student learning through the effective use of technology and diverse teaching strategies.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to students.
  • Establishing and nurturing partnerships with healthcare facilities for clinical training.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Nursing & Health Studies curriculum.
  • Implementing inclusive teaching practices to support underrepresented and first-generation students.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of two years of recent nursing practice.
  • Valid Wisconsin Nursing license upon hire.
  • Proficiency in PC software within a Windows environment.
  • Demonstrated potential for outstanding teaching capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in teaching, particularly in nursing.
  • Recent clinical experience in areas such as medical-surgical nursing, maternity, pediatrics, critical care, or community health.
