We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Cardiovascular team at Ascension St. John. As a key member of our team, you will provide medical services to patients and work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Obtain patient history and perform assessments via observation, interview, and examination.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies.
- Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other healthcare providers or community resources.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.
- Document delivery of healthcare and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy.
We are looking for a licensed Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority and a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. A Master's degree is preferred, and 1 year of experience is preferred. BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association is required within 1 month of hire date.
