Tact Staff is currently seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Position Overview
  • Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12-hour shifts

Shift Details: Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Certifications Required: AHA BCLS, ACLS, PALS
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in ICU preferred
EMR Experience: Proficiency in EPIC is required
Additional Requirements: Must have De-escalation Certification, work every other weekend and holidays. PALS certification can be provided post-offer.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Current RN License to practice.
  • 3 years or more of ICU experience is advantageous.
  • Certifications required upon starting: ACLS, BCLS, PALS. CCRN and TNCC are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to manage patients with various complexities, including those on multiple medication drips and EVD management.
  • Experience in trauma patient care across different severity levels.
  • Proficient in assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS.
  • Knowledge of hypothermia treatment protocols and pleurevac chest tube drainage.
  • Adherence to strict infection control practices.
  • Familiarity with PCA pump usage.
