Recreational Therapist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at Lifepoint Behavioral Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic recreational assessments, recommendations, and interventions to patients in our crisis stabilization program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement group and individual therapy sessions for patients of all ages.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Plan and implement recreational activities and programs to promote patient engagement and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Therapeutic Recreation, or related field.
  • Minimum one year of experience providing direct individual or group therapeutic services.
  • Certified Recreation Therapist (CRT) certification.
  • Experience working in a psychiatric setting.
