Duties:
The Music Therapy Instructor shall teach therapeutic music modalities to able-bodied personnel and individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities.
The Music Therapy Instructor will conduct the music therapy clinic in conjunction with the Program Staff.
The Music Therapy Instructor must have the ability to teach the following topics:
- Increasing auditory awareness
- Music as a catalyst for relaxation
- Music as a medium for non-verbal expression
- Music as a catalyst to decrease isolation and depression/stress/anxiety related to mental health diagnosis
While ensuring overall patient safety.
Qualifications/Education:
Contractor employees shall hold current First Aid and CPR certifications.
