Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Prepare and maintain a safe and organized assessment/treatment area, requisition necessary supplies, and set up equipment to facilitate effective communication and learning.
  • Communication Disorders: Identify and remediate communication disorders in students, utilizing evidence-based practices and strategies to promote effective communication and academic success.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other professionals to implement behavior management plans, develop individualized education plans, and promote a positive learning environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state department of education license/certificate in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Health Requirements: Meet all mandated health requirements for employment in a school setting.
