Job Title: District Sales Manager

As a District Sales Manager at US Foods, Inc., you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to achieve sales objectives, develop and maintain sales plans, and coach team members to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales objectives and develop sales plans
  • Research and develop long and short-range sales plans to achieve company goals
  • Coach and develop team members to create effective action plans and achieve sales targets
  • Direct team members toward high-quality leads and assist in closing sales
  • Submit and administer annual sales operating plans and budgets
  • Leverage sales coordinators to reduce administrative tasks and resolve customer issues
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies and proposals for customers
  • Communicate sales data to contribute to product planning
  • Recruit, train, and mentor new hires and existing team members
  • Oversee and manage team performance to plan and institute performance improvement measures as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of foodservice sales experience and 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office products
