Position Overview
The ECU Health Physicians group is actively looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified OBGYN to enhance their Outer Banks Health Women’s Care practice located in Nags Head, North Carolina.
Key Features of the Role:
- Employment within a community practice model under ECU Health Physicians
- Opportunity created due to practice expansion
- Involvement in both inpatient and outpatient care
- Hospital privileges at a critical access facility
- Approximately 400 deliveries annually
- Shared on-call responsibilities with three other physicians (1 night per week, 1 weekend per month)
- Labor and delivery facilities include 2 labor/delivery rooms, 4 mother/baby postpartum rooms, 1 triage room, and 2 flexible rooms, along with a dedicated C-section operating room
- Nursery capable of caring for up to 8 healthy, full-term infants and stabilizing near-term infants for transfer as necessary
- Standard clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 4-day work week
- Clinic located in a medical office building connected to the hospital
- In-office ultrasound and procedure room available
- Dedicated ultrasound technician available Monday to Friday
- Access to an excellent public school system
