About the Role:

The Tax Manager will be responsible for the filing of the company's tax returns and tax compliance for our legal entities and operating partnership. This position requires a motivated professional with a positive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to interact with all levels of management throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with outside tax firms for state and federal income tax filings
  • Responsible for income tax planning and estimated tax payments
  • Manage tax compliance for all of our National Storage Affiliates legal entities
  • Manage all tax examinations and audits
  • Engage with independent accountants to facilitate the tax portion of the annual audits
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Tax or Accounting required
  • Certified Public Accountant certification required
  • 5 - 7 years of accounting experience from a tax firm or tax position with a Company
