Certification Requirements

  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

  • Responsible for executing assigned duties and prescribed treatments to meet the comprehensive nursing needs of patients.
  • Assist fellow medical staff to ensure holistic patient care.
Educational Qualifications

Must be a graduate from an accredited Nursing School Program.

Essential Job Functions
  • Accountable for all nursing care provided or delegated.
  • Complete orientation and skills assessments within the designated timeframe.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in medication administration, including parenteral routes and blood products.
  • Conduct EKGs and respiratory therapy interventions.
  • Utilize cardiac monitoring devices and other medical equipment safely and effectively.
  • Recognize and address the psychological, social, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness based on patient conditions.
  • Provide patient education, particularly in areas such as cardiac rehabilitation.
  • Support the orientation of new nursing staff.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary nursing practices and techniques.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and maintaining professional interactions.
