Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of medical imaging procedures, including cardiovascular invasive procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab area to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Recognize and report recording errors and artifacts, and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning, cleaning, and numbing testing sites as necessary.
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including cardiac catheters and ultrasound machines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or equivalent.
  • One year of experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting.
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations, with a minimum of 50 miles from permanent residence.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
