JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Manager, Clinical Pharmacist, the Clinical Pharmacist plays a pivotal role in the management of clinical initiatives and prior authorization processes. This position requires the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care to Members through various Clinical Programs, including Medication Reconciliation and Medication Therapy Management, alongside other departmental projects.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in pharmacy, hospital settings, or drug benefit quality assessment, utilization management, and/or provider liaison roles, OR at least one (1) year of Managed Care residency or Ambulatory Care residency
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) degree from an accredited institution is mandatory
  • Must hold an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered Registered Pharmacist license issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy
  • Flexibility in schedule may be required based on business needs, which could include evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Eligibility for telecommuting/remote work is available upon completion of necessary procedures and HR approval
