Job Title: SRE Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled SRE Engineer to join our team at Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in building a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare.

About the Role:
  • Ensure scale and performance of medical imaging archiving and connectivity solutions, guaranteeing strong availability for our customers.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to deliver stability, performance, and reliability, using automation and orchestration principles to eliminate technical debt.
Responsibilities:
  1. Ownership Scope: Understand end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and behavioral characteristics of production services, communicating scale, capacity, security, performance attributes, and requirements of services.
  2. Operations Engineering: Implement automation and orchestration principles to eliminate technical debt, resolving issues and working towards preventing future problems.
  3. Automation: Automate tasks and services using Python, Bash, Ruby, or Perl, and proficiently work with configuration management solutions like Chef, Puppet.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proficient in coding complex distributed systems using Java or C/C++.
  • Experience with Linux internals and host-based networking.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge of secure Internet facing systems and services.
  • Hiring Range in USD from $63,000 to $126,100 per annum, with eligibility for bonus and equity.
