Cooperative Researcher for Oncology and AI

Job Description:

Janssen R&D, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented cooperative researcher to join our Established Products Oncology and AI team. As a cooperative researcher, you will play a key role in maximizing the value of our oncology portfolio through the execution of clinical development programs and providing active medical and scientific contribution to cross-functional clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Clinical Leaders and Compound Development Teams in the execution of specific tasks and projects in oncology related to clinical studies and strategic activities.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical trial concepts and protocols, execute clinical studies for post-approval commitments and new indications.
  • Be actively involved in the creation of Clinical Study Reports, publication of clinical research findings, and presentations to relevant Health Authorities, advisory committees, and review meetings.
  • Participate in the EP-AI project by evaluating the latest AI technologies and contributing to the progress of the project.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science and/or biological sciences related fields.
  • Passionate about science and operational excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for developing innovative solutions and meeting project objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability of critical thinking and prioritization with respect to project objectives.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other commonly used software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Additional technical proficiencies in SharePoint and other information technology systems, including experience with PubMed, EMBASE, and other literature databases.

Other:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Daily commute to Titusville Campus (New Jersey) expected.
  • Availability to work Full Time and for the total duration of the role (up to 6 months) is preferred.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and not requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
