Urban Retail Center Supervisor

The Senior Property Manager plays a key role in overseeing property management operations for in-fill urban retail centers. This position requires a deep understanding of real estate principles and practices.
Duties and Responsibilities- Regularly inspect properties to ensure they meet maintenance and operational standards.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures, making recommendations for change.
- Lead projects from concept to completion, working closely with senior management and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with leasing teams to drive successful lease negotiations, focusing on tenant improvement costs and related matters.
- Manage the procurement process, ensuring a competitive bidding process and thorough review of project scope and costs.
- Work with Construction Management resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Ensure operating expenses align with company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of annual budgets and monitoring of actual expenses to ensure budget alignment.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in commercial property management, with a focus on large in-fill urban retail properties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to think critically and make informed decisions, with a focus on maximizing cash flow and increasing value.
- Proficient in MS Office and Yardi, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- 20% travel required.
