Job Summary
Wellstone Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Tele/Med Surg team on a seasonal basis. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and competent nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain current knowledge and skills in cardiac and med surg nursing practices.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
- BLS (current upon hire).
- ACLS, and/or required specialty training or course completion (or obtained within three months of employment) in required specialty.
- Current Florida nursing license.
- Current Chemotherapy Certification only for nurses hanging Chemotherapy Treatments.
