Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients and residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Supervise the nursing activities performed by licensed vocational nurses and certified nursing assistants, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients and residents, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure that patients and residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote high-quality patient care.
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS certification (through the American Heart Association)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate proficiently both orally and in writing in the English language
- Knowledge in the principles of nursing care within the RN, LVN, and CNA scope of practice
- Working knowledge of Title 22 OBRA regulations and Joint Commission requirements
- SNF/LTC experience with one year of supervision of nursing personnel
