Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Use the 5-step GREAT program to engage customers, request credit, explain savings, ask for surveys, and thank customers.
  • Learn and adapt to current technology to assist customer needs.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service through effective problem-solving and communication.
  • Solicit, open, and activate Kohl's Charge applications and loyalty programs.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient cash handling procedures in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis.
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving about the departments.
  • Regular attendance and adherence to Kohl's policy and procedures.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior retail experience.
  • Comfortable with the use of technology consistently while performing required tasks.
