Job Description

Job Title: Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Inspire Health Group. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide medication assistance, including counting and distributing medication, and monitoring residents for any adverse reactions.
  • Assist with mealtime, including serving meals, cleaning up, and ensuring residents have access to snacks and beverages.
  • Perform light housekeeping and maintenance tasks, such as cleaning resident rooms, making beds, and unclogging toilets.
  • Assist residents with mobility issues, such as transferring from wheelchairs or walkers.
  • Monitor residents' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Document resident care and any changes in their condition.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
