Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support on mechanical reliability issues, including troubleshooting equipment problems and advising on maintenance practices.
  • Act as a liaison between site maintenance and subject matter experts to implement best practices in asset design and maintenance.
  • Lead the monthly Reliability Improvement Team meetings to address key reliability issues and drive improvements.
  • Characterize risk-based degradation scenarios, failure modes, and equipment failure effects.
  • Lead Equipment Strategies, Criticality, and FMEA/RCM studies.
  • Support the development of regional and global reliability reports.
  • Perform data mining, modeling, and analytics on failure history and uptime to identify patterns and improve reliability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of maintenance experience in the petrochemical industry.
  • Experience in equipment troubleshooting and facilitating team decision-making.
  • Proficiency in reliability analysis methodologies and tools such as Pareto charts and growth analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Powerpoint, and Word.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Fundamental understanding of risk scenario development, assessment, and risk-based work selection.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) concepts and FMEA.
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience:
  • 10 or more years' experience in Chemical, Petrochemical or Refining facilities
  • Experience with Software tools such as SAP, Reliasoft and Maximo.
  • CMRP or CRE Certification
