Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide direct patient care to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders by evaluating, diagnosing, and developing treatment programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer diagnostic tests and provide individualized treatment to adults and children with a variety of communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams and serve as a clinical expert in specialized areas such as pediatric speech and traumatic brain injury.
  • Train and supervise Speech Pathology Assistants and provide in-service training to healthcare staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of speech therapy and attend professional seminars and workshops.
Requirements
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • One year of clinical experience in dysphasia management and Speech Pathology.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California) and National Provider Identifier.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
