Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive oral exams and assessments of patients' oral health to identify potential issues and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures to maintain patients' oral health and prevent disease.
- Administer fluoride treatments and take X-rays as needed to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care methods to promote healthy habits and prevent future problems.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in patient records to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with dental teams.
- Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience working in general dentistry, with a strong focus on routine hygiene duties, including scaling and root planning, FMDs, probing, Arestin application, and taking digital X-rays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure efficient patient care.
- Online charting experience is a plus, but not required.
