Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Nurse to join our pediatric ambulatory care team at Akron Children's Hospital. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients and families in a pediatric ambulatory care setting.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in staff development and education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Assist with the coordination of patient care and services to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support training from the American Heart Association required.
  • Valid, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing preferred.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working onsite at Akron Children's Hospital.
