We are seeking a highly skilled Thoracic Radiologist to join our team at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. As a key member of our Department of Radiology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting research, and training medical students, residents, and fellows.
Responsibilities:- Provide routine 8am-5pm coverage with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
- Interpret plain film radiography and CT scans, with no cardiac or Aortic CTA responsibilities.
- Contribute to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Thoracic Imaging Division.
- Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to clinical and imaging operations.
- Conduct and provide clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings.
- Collaborate with faculty and leadership to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities.
- Serve as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department.
- Support clinical and translational research activities and innovation.
- May serve as PI or Co-I in grants and/or clinical trials.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
- Board certification in Radiology (ABR, AOBR).
- Subspecialty fellowship in Thoracic or equivalent experience in abdominal or emergency radiology.
- Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Must support and embrace the diverse and inclusive culture of The Ohio State University College of Medicine, the Medical Center, and the University.
