Job Title: Civil Engineer - Water Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer - Water Systems to join our team at Palmdale Water District. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing water system infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop water treatment plants, reservoirs, wells, booster stations, and pipelines
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in California or ability to obtain within 18 months
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in water system design and project management
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of water treatment and distribution systems
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
