We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer - Water Systems to join our team at Palmdale Water District. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing water system infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop water treatment plants, reservoirs, wells, booster stations, and pipelines
- Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California or ability to obtain within 18 months
- Minimum 7 years of experience in water system design and project management
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of water treatment and distribution systems
