About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at Thrive Pet Healthcare. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care and advocating for pets
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment
  • Monitor and assess patient status, collecting blood and other samples for testing
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
  • Collaborate with the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a veterinary technician or related field
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squat, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
