Minimum Qualifications

  • Dental Hygienist License: Hold a current dental hygienist license in South Carolina and an Associate or Bachelor degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent Working Knowledge: Possess excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification: Hold a current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

  • New Grads and Experienced Hygienists: We welcome new graduates and experienced hygienists to apply.
  • Desire to Learn and Grow: Demonstrate a desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
  • Clinical Needs: Be able to meet the clinical needs of the office.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to Perform Essential Duties: Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
  • Prolonged Sitting and Standing: Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Virtual Training Sessions: Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.

TB Test Requirement

A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
