Furnace Operator

Job DescriptionBodycote is seeking a skilled Furnace Operator to join our team. As a key member of our thermal processing team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our heat treat furnaces.

We are looking for a candidate with 2-3 years of experience working with Vacuum, Induction, and Temper style furnaces. In this role, you will:

• Control and monitor heat treat furnaces and follow written procedures on shop orders.
• Prepare work for processing; load and unload furnaces, bins, fixtures, and baskets.
• Bring any unusual problem or irregularity to the attention of the supervisor.
• Practice and promote safety and good housekeeping.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language. Knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and databases, is preferred but not required.
