PRN - On an as-needed basis, with variable hours. Franciscan Ministries operates a shelter dedicated to providing essential services for individuals affected by domestic violence and their children. We are committed to community outreach and education, collaborating with various professionals to promote awareness and prevention of domestic violence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with their daily requirements as needed.
- Provide clients with necessary documentation, including transportation requests and accommodation arrangements.
- Distribute personal care items and supplies, facilitate communication, and monitor daily tasks assigned to clients.

- Engage in crisis management and maintain logs of crisis calls for future reference, support groups, and external service referrals.

- Mediate conflicts among clients and document all interactions using appropriate logs, including daily activity records and incident reports.

- Conduct initial intakes as required and guide new residents through shelter rules and regulations as outlined in the client handbook.

- Support clients in their transition out of the shelter by following established protocols and completing all necessary documentation.

- Complete daily shift checklists, updating statistical data and reports such as crisis call logs, intake summaries, and other essential records.

- Input client information, census data, program metrics, and fundraising details into the designated database/software system. Ensure proper routing of information as per established procedures and assist with historical data reporting as needed by management.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service.
- Experience working with diverse populations is essential.
- A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience with domestic violence clientele is advantageous.
