Job Title: Quality Inspector 2nd Shift

SKF is seeking a Quality Inspector 2nd Shift to join our team in Winsted, CT. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual inspections at various magnifications using magnifiers and microscopes.
  • Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated before use and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of inspection stations.
  • Report inspection results clearly and accurately, identifying and segregating nonconforming product.
  • Comply with stamp control procedures and assure lot and sample traceability.
  • Read new and revised specifications when mandated.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing process.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Sitting for 5-7 hours a day, walking, pushing, carrying, or lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Standing generally.
  • No visual color deficiency.
