Location: Las Vegas, NV
Work Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts available Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM PST or weekends from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM PST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input and verify prescription information.
- Communicate with patients, pharmacists, and healthcare providers to resolve claims issues.
- Process prescriptions from intake to completion.
- Address customer inquiries, ensuring accurate information is provided.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards while maintaining good attendance.
- Fulfill prescription orders accurately.
- Interpret and enter prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism.
- Document interventions and track outcomes with the pharmacy team.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in Nevada.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in insurance claims processing and resolution.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding pharmacy practice.
- Proficient in using Windows PC applications and capable of learning new systems.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- National certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Over 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Familiarity with insurance processes, including pre-approvals and authorizations.
- Experience in sterile compounding.
