We are seeking a dedicated Home Care Assistant to join our team at UMIT HEALTH, where you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to our elderly residents. As a Home Care Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment for our community members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize all living areas, including bathrooms and kitchen spaces
  • Change linens and towels as needed
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting and vacuuming
  • Prepare and serve meals (if required)
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

Requirements:
  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (or ability to obtain one)
  • Dependable and patient demeanor when interacting with residents
