Job Overview

As a Financial Compliance Auditor, your primary responsibility will be to conduct impartial and thorough evaluations of the bank's operational processes and internal controls. Your work will ensure that all procedures are effective, adhere to regulatory standards, and support the strategic objectives of the bank. By pinpointing potential risks and suggesting enhancements, you will play a crucial role in protecting the bank's assets and maintaining its esteemed reputation, thereby contributing to its enduring success and stability.

This position requires working on-site.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute specialized internal audits, including on-site evaluations.
  • Assist in managing the bank's internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Draft reports detailing audit findings and provide recommendations to the Internal Audit Manager.
  • Track unresolved audit issues and conduct follow-up communications until they are addressed by Management.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the banking or financial sector; a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred certification as a Certified Community Bank Internal Auditor or similar professional credential in a specialized area.
  • Desirable prior experience with comprehensive audit practices within a specialized field.
