Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound studies using advanced equipment and techniques.
  • Provide written technical impressions to assist cardiologists with interpretations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two-year allied health education program or certification from a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of experience performing 2D, stress, and dobutamine stress echocardiograms.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or local Native languages.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be exposed to physical injury, infectious diseases, and airborne and bloodborne pathogens. A strong understanding of safety standards is essential to limit exposure to infectious diseases.
