Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Specialist at Metroairports. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless travel experience for our passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide professional, pleasant, and helpful service to airport customers, responding to routine questions and resolving customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Passenger Flow Management: Assist with passenger flow in the departure lobbies and perform visual and functional checks of terminal amenities to ensure proper operation.
  • Taxi Operations: Ensure proper inventory of staged taxi cabs, oversee taxi staging and customer pick-up operation, and direct passengers to available taxis.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Record and prepare written reports on taxi incidents and customer complaints, and escalate any queries and concerns to supervisor or team lead.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: One year of customer service experience and the ability to respond to customers in a professional manner.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic skill level using Microsoft Office, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time, lift 35 pounds, and hold and walk with a flag weighing approximately 10 pounds for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience working at MSP airport and familiar with the terminal campus, experience providing customer service in a culturally diverse environment, and experience assisting people with disabilities.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and/or speak Somali, Spanish, ASL, or other second language.
